Recording is so rough

I really liked this book but had to stop listening because the recording is edited so poorly. The narrator stops talking halfway through sentences several times and there are seconds of silence and then she picks it back up. I’ve never had an issue with quality from Audible but this is terrible. I’ll get an actual copy of the book to finish the story.

If you combine he movie Raw with Mona Awad's book Rouge, then you'd have youthjuice.

This is such a smart, thrilling, and super trippy read focused on the beauty industry. The fear of aging. The fear of fading looks. And what those things mean to women in society.

The Substance, if it was bad and pointless

This book went nowhere. The characters were nothing and had no distinguishing characteristics. Plot points seemed to jump out of shadowy corridors with no build up or suspense. There was no pay off because the main character seemed to want nothing, be nothing. Do not recommend.
