So That’s Why Leading Sometimes Feels Hard! Yes!

This book gave me one of those quiet but powerful realizations: oh… so that’s why this feels hard. Zone to Win helped me understand that not all work is meant to be managed the same way. Performance, productivity, incubation, and transformation each play by different rules… and when we mix those rules up, everything feels heavier than it needs to. Listening on Audible I found myself pausing and replaying sections because the ideas kept clicking into place, both professionally and personally. The offense vs. defense framing, the focus on timing, and the reminder that transformation doesn’t require perfection everywhere were especially helpful. This isn’t a flashy book, but it’s a grounding one. It gave me language, clarity, and a framework I’ll keep coming back to. Thank you to the author ..you did great! 😊

Not enough examples

There were only two examples at the end. It’s really hard to apply and internalize this without more examples

Too high level for most

Got about half way through but I’m not the target audience and book is more of an intellectual exercise as readers won’t be at a level where most companies large enough for this book to apply and be able to influence or change dynamics. Good insights and understanding but little practical advise outside big company execs.
