Or bad but could have had better narration
This wasn’t bad. Although I think Ray Porter would have made it a much funnier book. Some of the sarcasm was lost in the almost monotone narration.

I liked it.

Fun story to read, decent story to listen to.
I enjoy these books, but this narrator is not good. It’s not his fault, his voice is just really not great for an action novel.

Definitely worth your time
Mark Tufo has the prefect mix of horror, drama and humor. I was initially unsure how I would feel about humorous comments in a zombie story. But I quickly fell in love with the protagonists humorous asides.

Only half way through chapter one....
So, I keep my audible credits for good books but listen to the freebies, particularly to help me sleep. This book came up as a suggestion and I thought.... Why not? The cover looks cheesy and I wasn't really sure about it. However, the reviews looked decent. I will admit I'm a 50 yo zombie fanatic. I'd like to think I'd be Carol on the Walking Dead, if the world went to hell. So, I started the book, laid down and tried to sleep...... With in the first 4 minutes I began to die laughing! This book is hilarious.... So far. Not, yikes, the writing is so atrocious it's funny but the writing is wonderful and the main character is so on point, I can't keep from laughing hysterically. Now, I realize it's a series and I'm going to have to buy more credits to finish it up. Ok, all for now. I have to finish listening!

Love this series!
