Couldn't Stop

I blew through this book! It was authentically written and carefully and lovingly narrated.

Way too long!!

Great story, interesting history, and relations. It just went on way too long, pretty much all of it.

A story from the past to the present

There's aspects of this book that I really loved. I think that importance of family is the biggest theme. And I think disappointment in life circumstances is another theme. I'd like the narration. At times it was a little bit slow, but overall a really good read.

Speechless

I just couldn’t stop listening!! It is now 5am and my alarm clock has just gone off and tears are streaming down my face and my hubby is begging me to please silence the alarm clock and stop listening to my book. The flow of the narrators is perfect. As always Ms LaVoy exceeds expectations. Would recommend

A beautiful well written story

It was such an amazing read. I loved every character in the story. It revealed moments in history that we tend to forget. It showed how much access we have in today’s world. It showed how powerful love can be.

This is so worth the credit. The story spans generations while still being well told. Be prepared to cry even just a little. Love can conquer everything. You won't regret it.
