Good book to set yourself up to enjoy your career!
"You need to keep your power by advocating for yourself"
This book really helped to start my journey to get out of a professional rut. Caroline does a great job of not only talking about how to deal with others, including supervisors, but how to be a better supervisor yourself. I appreciated the "Pro Tips" at the end of each chapter to bring all the points back to mind before moving to the next chapter.
I would say my favorite portion of this book was on building your own personal board of directors. This opened my eyes to having a variety of people in different supporting roles for your life. It has inspired me to review those I go to for support and see what other supporting roles I may need to fill.
Caroline did a great job narrating this book. It was a good listen while traveling to and from work each day.
