Well written story ..holds your interest throughout. Nice job by the narrator. Decent listen, good work

This was just as good and creepy as the original!

I loved this! The sequel definitely was just as good! Very creepy and kept me interested up to the very end!

Really great, but…

I don’t typically like sequels because they rarely do the original work justice, but this one was an exception. I really like the narrator too, but either my Californian ears are broken or he is terrible at accents. I swear Mona sounded like she was an Irish German Norwegian Gypsy from Tennessee and at one point one of the characters said something about Emmanuel being Canadian? What? I don’t know. The story was so good I didn’t even care.

It got to a point

I really liked the first one (You Invited It In), but the sequel kind of lost me halfway through. It started off spooky and had me on edge, but then it dragged a bit — I ended up skipping around just to see how it ended. The narration for Asher still grated on me, but overall it wasn’t a bad listen… I just couldn’t stick with the middle 😬

How dare Sarah Jules take up half of my Memorial Day weekend. I finished YOU INVITED IT IN and immediately started YOU NEED TO LEAVE. I found the likes of which to be an honest extension of the first installment and a seamless portrayal of the Eastwood family’s paranormal ordeal. I felt like certain parts of this one may have lagged. Felix, Lilith, and a young, naive Asher were perhaps more entertaining narrators. The entities in the sequel were harder to dislike than the NDM demon, which made them fundamentally less scary. I suppose that made them more dangerous, though, given that they are less predictable.

Spine tingling sequel

Just as Asher and Eli are grieving and trying to get their lives back to normal, a video of the incident (from Sarah Jules’s YIII) is posted and goes viral on the internet. After being relentlessly hounded by reporters, paranormal researchers and others, Eli, nephew Asher and dog Specs escape to the country to wait until everything blows over. But, it doesn’t and all hell breaks loose, literally! This book had be on the edge of my seat with visceral feeling of unease and anxiety and my pulse still hasn’t gone back to normal. I liked how this book started with a recap of the events of book 1 and then brought in and developed some new characters. The narration by Kevin E Green is outstanding. In addition to his ability to create unique voices for the many characters, his performance helped enhance the atmosphere and add to the creep factor in this horror story.

You Need to Leave

Wow! What a sequel! This picks up right where we left off in You Invited It In. This is an absolute must read(listen) if you loved the first story. Narration was fantastic.

Satisfying end

Excellent sequel to "You Invited It In." Eli and Asher are back trying to get a semi-normal life after Felix's death and Lilith's arrest for his murder. Unfortunately, Emmanuel Stark releases the video that LIlith sent him causing Eli and Asher to run and hide from the publicity. That doesn't stop the hauntings, though. At times I felt I was there with Eli and Asher living their terror. Kevin Green's narration was spot on.
