Acerca de esta escucha

What if you could move your relationships away from frustration and disappointment?

Demetria M. McNeal, Ph.D. is a communication scientist. Sometimes, the things you say can be the things that make it impossible to say anything at all. In her practice, McNeal has figured out why certain topics are stigmatized, and why communication often breaks down at the times we need it most.

In You Don’t Say, Dr. McNeal shares a better way that works.

When it comes to addressing taboo topics with family members and friends, all of us can get it wrong. But what if there were a way to stop merely talking about these issues and instead tap into what communication really means? What if you could address taboo topics in personal relationships in a way that fosters personal growth, true communication, and ultimately better relationships? In You Don’t Say, communication expert Dr. McNeal shows you how to leverage your voice, courage, and inner strength to make any challenging communication successful.

If there were a powerful tool for anyone who wants to renew, restore, and reconnect relationships, wouldn’t you want to learn about it?

In You Don’t Say, Dr. McNeal offers concrete examples and solutions through the relationship reset model, a framework for how to restart communication when you feel paralyzed.

If you want to develop your voice so that you have the confidence to say what you mean, mean what you say, and truly listen, then download this audiobook today!

This is a great book for this people who are stuck between a rock and a hard place in a complex personal relationship. She cues up the situation: maybe we (or they) said or did something hurtful, or maybe our values just don’t seem aligned anymore and ghosting seems easier to do, or a host of other situations where the real conversations stop and the distance gets bigger. She first lays out a variety of possible situations so you can unpack and reflect on what happened.

Then, Dr McNeal will help you to see the reality that is in front of you and give you steps to help address it. It’s hard to step up and start real dialog. She makes you feel better more “normalized”about how you feel now, and how to work you way back.

She is authentic and full of knowledge and energy.

This book was interesting and contained a lot of information. The book was written by a communication specialist. Her dedication and research into this subject were very evident throughout the book. The story related personal anecdotes and case studies which supported her thesis. Demetria McNeal's narration was good, and her passion for the subject was projected through her performance. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.
