The details are amazing

I really enjoyed this book. The descriptions are very complete and are very enjoyable to read. I love this book because it left the mystery and a lot to the mind to put into the books as memories of your own

Eerie

I had no idea that Janet Deleon wrote this kind of spooky tale. But thank goodness she did! It was very good "reading". Characters were lively and entertaining. They kept me going.

Another great plot.

Another good mystery by the author. It will be interesting to see if this is a standalone or if the characters’ continue. I’ll be happy either way. I was a little surprised at the gratuitous sex scene, although Deleon had one in a Mudbug book (title?). She does an excellent job on those BTW.

Different from this author

This is a different type of book from this author. I enjoyed it. Will look for more.

Not what I expected

Interesting story not what I thought it would be great listen during Mardi Gras since I also think of New Orleans and Louisiana

the story line was well written and the narration was done with variations to keep your interest

Interesting plot

There was way too much use of “bit her lip” and some cheesy unrealistic dialogue… particularly between Olivia and John
