Good book

Action packed story that has a different take on shifters. The story has a good dose of romance and the characters are well done.

Overall good story

Overall a good story land start of the series. A little frustrating at times but I believe that is necessary for the world building of this story.

Unsure

So, the narrator makes me feel like ALL the characters are MUCH younger than they’re suppose to be. While her voice is clear and great she sounds so young that I feel the story is being told through the eyes of a 16–17 year old. Not someone who’s 21 and the other characters supposedly in their late 20’s to early 30’s.

Also another pet peeve I had with the book in general is it felt like the main character kept loosing focus of her main reasoning for this whole quest.
Yes, I understand the appeal of trying to make the love intoxicating, but something about that just makes me feel like the main plot is getting lost in sub plot. Hopefully this will be redeemed in book 2 because I am invested in knowing what’s happening since there’s so many unanswered questions.

Over all, it’s not a bad book, but not the best.

It was difficult for me to follow along. I am thinking it is because of the person who read the book more so than the story itself. I wasn’t able to finish it.

Undecided

The book was long winded, slow in places. For example, a goal was set but didn’t even get close to competition. Granted it worked out in the end but there wasn’t any or not much substance through out the book. The characters seemed child like and I couldn’t relate to any of them. I do however think the book has potential, it just needs a lot more attention to the story line.

Different

This story is so unique, love how the author has the shifters not being able to shift without a relic. So much action and emotions go through this book that you will be surprised once you finish it. I love the main character she is confident, sassy and brave. I can not wait to see what is in store for Akira!

Good Storyline

l really liked this adventure, the woives, the well written fight scenes and the characters. l want to know more about the missing emblem and the group's future endeavours so l will be following this series.
l can recommend this book for anyone as there is only female to female attraction, no sex scenes.
The narration was done with a real cute voice, l liked it.

Good read

I really enjoy this, it’s a unique story. We meet Akira, her two mates, and their friends. All the characters introduced have been quite entertaining. The story grabs you in from the beginning. There’s action, humour, sadness, and frustration. I highly recommend it.
