Pretty good overall, don't like the flashbacks

If you like manga light novels and harem lit, you probably want to give this a shot.
I read all 3 novels in this series back to back and as a whole they feel like a full story, individually they are fun to read, but I probably would have forgotten about this series a few days from now if I'd only been able to read the first book. Brandon totally owns up to this in his forward and It does get better as the books progress! I'm kinda hoping that 4,5&6 are coming out soon.
The only thing that really keeps these from 5 stars is that the "hook", the list of things he's supposed to be focused on are years away and in 3 books we've only moved ahead two months. If the next 20 something books were out to get to his first real goal, I'd happily read them all. As it stands the author has many other series it seems and I hesitate to get invested do to worry about burnout.

Best Book so Far - Great Fights and Training

The MC is getting stronger as his t÷raining progresses. I don't want to leave spoilers but there is an epic duel this book. The MC is finally starting to shock everyone with his prowess.

loved it. great acting. great story. really best all around. hyper detailed love scenes as always but its a minor part of the story. just adds to its greatness

please release more

Thank you for giving us a great novel to listen too keep up the good work but I wish you had a forewarning every time we switched between the past and present it can be very confusing when listening but all in all I see no other problems. I'm looking forward to seeing more novels written by you.

Less S#x, More Action!

Liked this one more than the previous two as there was more time spent on plot and character development rather than him recounting past sexual exploits, in graphic detail.

Yes, I understand this is a harem series and women are going to throw themselves at the MC, like lemmings off a cliff. But still, you can have an excellent story with some spicy romance without feeling like I bought an X-rated novel.

Excellent book!

This book is laying excellent groundwork for this great story, just like the last two books. This story is slowly building and introducing all the key characters. We finally get to see the third woman in his new life.

Why is it taking so long to get these?

It's like the author doesn't want to sell anymore. I keep waiting for new books but I only buy the audio version because I listen to them at work. I do get a little time to read text copies but he pulled this line from the Kindle rental list which is what I use to see which audio books I want to buy It's like the author is trying to stop me from buying his books. Great series and love the voice actors I'm just pissed that I can't get more of it.

Got this first and made me want to get the rest

I had bought this book firstnof the series and after finishing it, I knew I had to have the first 2 books. And now like many other who enjoyed this story really well, I look forward to the rest if the series

Decent story, very slow progress

One of the major complaints I have seen in all 3 books are the flashback sequences. I agree with the criticism. For example there is a chapter is this book that is 35 minutes long. 26 of that 35 is a flashback sequence..... Not joking. Also the author repeatidly re-introduces characters, concepts and fictional lore that you as the listener/reader already know. This is frequent enough to be a bit annoying and persists in each book. One thing to reintroduce these things at the start of a new book for a refresher, another to do it every other chapter.

That said I am interested to see where the story goes.
