Imagine a life in which we literally believe God and take him at his word, one in which we let the trials and tribulations that hit us roll off our backs. We look at those trials as a “life college” and learn everything we can through them. We get better, not bitter. When relationships fail, instead of looking at them as our personal failures, we believe rejection is God’s protection and that he wanted the people out of our lives.

The points in this book are all about perception shifts - learning how to take the bad and shift it for our good. Everything happens for a reason, so instead of getting mad at God for not healing our marriages, giving us favor with a promotion, or saving us from bankruptcy, let’s look at everything we experience as a means of advancement in our lives.

This book just opened my eyes to the love of God.

I love this book. I have been struggling for a long time now, many years as a child and adult and even more so during a time like our world is in like this Pandemic. I wanted to get back on track and understand who I am, what does this shift mean right now and how is my past pain and hurts connected and is God going to use me, is this what He has been doing all along and I just didn't see it or sit still long enough to listen. I thank you Pastor Kim for helping me see the love of God, really see it now in a whole new way. I know know that He has always been there even in my darkest moments and has been holding on to me because He has a plan for me. Thank you for sharing your journey in this book.

Excellent read.

I love this book and the way Pastor Kim reads it herself makes it even more personable. She breaks down every chapter and the prayers at the end are amazing. Its one of those books where you need a pen and paper. Its so raw and unfiltered and that is what I really love. She is transparent all the way. I will definately be re listening and already forwarded it to friends.

I loved this book! It was a great read. A very practical outlook on life and the road we must travel when submitting to his will for our lives. Kim Jones-Pothier is a great woman of GOD and Pastor. Her story was heart felt and hit home.
