...skipped 6 chapters for the ending

There's more inconsistencies and repeitiveness in this book than the first. Also from one sentence to the next, the pov changes between characters which adds more confusion. I do like the story and it could have been something great but the editing is just sad. You do find out what's happening in the communities around them, so I was pretty happy about that. I feel the ending is setting up for a third novel, at which sadly I probably won't listen to.

Repetitive & Boring

I can listen to pretty much anything but this book was so repetitive. I’m not a huge fan of AI voice but usually I can get through it when the story is engaging. This story was just plain boring. It had potential to be very good. The storyline premise was interesting but the execution was lacking.

Details of surviving, resilience of strong women characters

Strong resilient women and how they thrived rather than surviving. Well written. Would prefer a real narrator rather than virtual
