If Cassie didn't come along two people would have been in a soulless marriage. Jacob wanted a wife who was a homebody to the care of the home and take care of him. Laura was losing herself trying to be what he wanted. Then Cassie came along and there was instant attraction for both of them. plus, Cassie liked Laura just the way she was. but Laura was engaged to her brother Jacob and so that made anything that happened between them taboo.

The Story is good if one can get past the VV narration.

As for mature content I give it a 🌶️🌶️🔥

Didn’t like that it was AI narrating but non the less the story line was sexy and captivating

AI narrator is horrible

This is the first time I've come across a Virtual Voice narrator and it is a horrible way to voice an audiobook. Story seems fairly good but the subtle changes from the Virtual Voice between characters makes it difficult to figure out who's talking. Trying to figure that out is pulling me out of the story. How this got a high performance review is baffling. I'll be switching to reading the physical book.

The story is interesting but the Virtual Voice SUCKS. Wish I had noticed it before I got the audiobook. I can’t finish the story.
