Well written story about love and life - it has colors and textures that bring both joy and tears.

This is a hard book to review! I loved a lot about it but I didn't love a few things too.
I'll start by saying I loved the basic story line. The author did an amazing job telling this story. I loved Parker when she first met new people, she was snarky, honest and fun. The time line in this book is what I think made it hard for me. If this story took place over a few years I would have LOVED it but it was really only a few months and that made it very hard for me to get on board with the love story. I do not like insta-love and this book has it times 2!! About 4 hours into this book I was wondering if it was supposed to all about the shock value. Because yes, there is "I didn't see that coming" in a huge way but I couldn't see where the book was going from there with 5 hours left to go. I found this book to be pretty depressing most of the time. And don't get me started on the sex scenes lol I was getting whiplash, either you have closed door sex scenes or you have details, you do not have graphic details then SLAM the door closes, that was a little odd for me.

I think if I had known before starting it that this book was sad and it had a shocking moment I would have loved it and like I said above If it had a longer timeline I would be screaming from the rooftops about it but instead I was left feeling a little unemotional about the characters because I couldn't get on board with the love they had for each other and after a huge WOW moment in the middle, the rest of the book fell a little flat for me.

The narration was great, She was perfect for all the characters and spot on the entire time!

Loved EVERYTHING about this!

@audible version --> This is one of the best audible books I've listened to. I can't believe this is the first book by Jewell E Ann that I've "read". Everything of hers has been HIGHLY recommended - will be fast-tracking her other books. As for WTH - The story was wonderful, but the narrator managed to do so much with her voice that I truly felt Parker's character, felt every emotion; love, grief, betrayal, and hope. It's just perfect :-)

I enjoyed the audio book.

I would recommend this book for a nice short read. If you're offended bysex scenes, it's easy and short to skip through.

Angsty and Beautifully Written

Wow, just....WOW! This book is fan-freaking-tastic! Jewel E. Ann put me through an emotional ringer, though. It's an amazing book, but it almost needs a warning. I laughed, I cried then laughed and cried some more. It's an angsty and well written book. I was hooked from the first few words.

Tia Rider Sorensen was absolutely perfect for this book!

Touching Love Story

This was a good romance at first I was hesitant and then jumped right in. I enjoyed this book!

This book definitely came with unexpected feelings that bubbled up to the surface and exploded everywhere.

That twist. Definitely not expecting that.

What came before and what followed the twist totally made this book one that will be hard to forget.

This was my first book by Jewel E Ann. To say she knocked it out of the park would be a tragic understatement. I am utterly blown away and in love with her words. Top favorite of 2018.
