The Best Guardian Monster

I have been obsessed with Zeus Garro since I first read him and to hear him come to life on audio has been the biggest treat.
He is larger then life and the perfect man to lead the Fallen. He can only be somewhat tamed by his little warrior and it is a breathtaking sight.
I highly recommend this novel. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Absolutely A Must Read

This was such a good story. I loved it. Beautiful!!!! I lived the banter of the characters. I couldn't stop listening!!!

My emotions. I’m broken.

Normally in my reviews, I break it down to the details, analyze the story, the characters, the narration, blah blah…So I’ll give it a go.

But this book broke me and that’s all I can focus on. The emotions.

Here’s the thing: Normally I steer clear of huge age gap romances like those where the H has a daughter the same age as the h (as is the case in this story). And yes, sometimes I was a little icked out (as is Harley Rose, understandably so). However, daddy Zeus absolutely stole my heart. He was a YOUNG dad. Still a dad, but not as much of an age gap (less than 20 years) as some other stories in the genre. Another thing that helped was the character development. Zeus is a sweet, protective family man. He loves fiercely. The way he cares for his kids and MC brothers is WAY different from the way he is drawn to Lou. And LouLou? Oh, that girl has been through it. Although she is still very much a virgin when she finally gets together with Z, she has done a lot of growing up. Cancer is a b**** but it made her seize life by the balls and live the way she wanted to. The two together are sizzling, combustible, deliciously explosive, and I am HERE for it! Lou and her guardian monster stole my heart and I don’t want it back because I know it’s in good hands.

So, I normally try to comb reviews for spoilers about big events, triggers, etc, because I like to know what to expect. But I was not expecting what happened in this book and if I had to be blindsided, then so do you, my friend.

It’s worth the ride, but oh man. Have tissues ready.

Oh, and the narrators are two of my favorites, so I don’t feel like I have much to say. Jason Clarke pretty much is a one-click narrator for me. If it is 7+ hours, dual narration, and involves Jason’s sinfully delicious voice, I’m in. He was the perfect Zeus. Desiree Ketchum, also, was amazing as LouLou, embodying her innocent, yet sassy and developing worldliness with effortless perfection. Well chosen.

One of my favorite books of all time. Definitely worth the money and one I'll still listen and read for years to come. I can't wait for more from this amazing author. The two narrating hit it out of the park. They also get all the stars for have a male and female narration!

My favorite book in this series.

Loved reading Zeus and Lulu’s story & Love the audiobook even more. Perfect narrators! They fit how I imagined the characters would sound, especially Zeus 😍

It's Everything!

It's such an amazing story. Listen, the age gap is significant, but the love in this book is just 😭
Zeus....yes please and with a cherry on top. Loulou....again....yes. Both characters are amazing. The hair scene 🤧 Mute!!!! 😫

P.S cherry is my new favorite flavor 🤣

Awestruck

The storyline was quite interesting. It lingered on the side of pedophilia, grooming, or something, I’m not actually sure. But it caught my attention. It was eloquently red. I enjoy listening to Jason Clark. He makes everything awesome. He put his body and soul into what he reads and that is amazing. Curious to know what the other stories are about. 

Good

I enjoyed the book and narration was great. Another review said the cancer portion wasnt to much. I would disagree for anyone who it triggers. there were sad parts but it was good.
