We were lost

I love the easy flow of the story line and the vivid words that lead the imagination to see exactly what the author wants the reader to see.

good but not really related to the other books

i liked this story! i think it could’ve almost been a standalone with a few things changed and not related to the first book. there’s mentions of the sinclair family but for sure could’ve been stand alone

Disappointed

I was very much looking forward to this title after reading her two previous books but was left disappointed, the twist wasn’t much of a twist.

Loved it- original plot

Love this author and this book did not disappoint. Story had a unique plot and kept you engaged the whole time. Narration was excellent.

I felt something was off the whole time and then bam, twist!

E. Lockhart did it again. From the very first chapter of We Fell Apart, I felt that signature Lockhart vibe—that subtle sense that something was off, that quiet tension humming underneath every scene. You can’t always put your finger on it, but you feel it in your bones.

And then the twist lands.
And then the closure hits.
Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

Lockhart has this way of making you question everything you thought you understood, only to pull the rug out from under you in a way that feels both shocking and strangely satisfying. The ending tied it all together in a way that made me sit back, stare into the void for a moment, and whisper, “Oh… she really did that.”
