We Burn Our Dead by Ted Laughton is a wonderful adventure fantasy. Jake Urry did a wonderful job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, engaging, enjoyable, heartfelt, well written, wonderful characters development, and more. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. highly recommended

I haven’t come across writing like this in a long time.

The authors writing style is absolutely beautiful. I want to start with that because for me, the way an author writes is just as important as the story itself. There some authors that just stand out, and even under a different pen name, you know it’s them. That is the type of unique writing style Ted Laughton has.

With that said and out of the way, let’s get to the review.

You will find yourself absolutely immersed in this book. He is descriptive and detailed. Not overly so to the point where his descriptions are drawn out, but just enough where you can easily visualize it all without losing interest.

The characters are intriguing, the plot is fantastic and it is written at just the right pace.

Only thing I didn’t care for was the narrator.
