Not what I expected!

The narration was pretty good, the story not so much! it was a long drawn out story of essentially being a doormat and a women who after all she has been through really has not learned from them at all! Through every chapter As I hoped this would be the one where she would get it. I also could not help to wonder where her son's head was watching his mom go from man to man trying to find something that was within all along! I kept on wondering what his confessions would be! I hurt for him, I felt pain for him. I don't feel like I gained anything from experiencing this book!

The narration was perfect! I will admit I started to get bored towards the end but it was great overall

Crazy story

While I can appreciate the story, I found myself constantly calling my daughter whom lives in Los Angeles (as I live in Chicago). Just listening to Karrine discribe her "relationship" with Wayne yet she was sleeping from couch to couch and in Extended stay hotels.... like wtf???

Inspires me to wanna tell my story. Hands down the best! Absolutely loved it! Strength is beauty!

Not as captivating as the first book

Sad she kind of had to go through so much more abuse than learning any lessons from the first go around
