The power of storytelling is a lost art. I noticed that there was a rawness to how the writer chose to approach parts of her story that may be deemed explicit by some. The honesty allowed me to connect to the story authentically. I’ll definitely recommend this audiobook to friends and family.

I loved the real unapologetic truths of self telling her stories. Her struggles told made me look into myself towards solutions.

A wonderful revisit

Listening to this was such a wonderful refresher. I snuck and read this as an 8 year old from my older sister's book collection. I INSTANTLY related. Now reading as an adult it is truly the full circle moment.
