THE STORY

A good story

I definitely liked this book. I liked the portrayal of the knights and Chris Tester's narration. Hope to hear more from him.

For the Emperor, and Adrastapol!!

Outstanding book, I came in with no expectations and Andy Clark blew me out of the water! Christopher Tester did an excellent job as the narrator, and if you want what may be the best Imperial Knight focused book out there since Assassinorum: Kingmaker, look no further than this book. I'll definitely be rereading this, as it was entertaining enough for me to listen all the way through in a single day - I'm looking forward to reading through the sequel Knightsblade next, as well as looking into other 40k books written by Andy Clark!

Great Reader

Christopher Tester does a phenomenal job giving each character thier own voice. I hope he gets more work with black library

A phenomenal Knightly story, coupled with a fantastic audio performance this story will have you wanting to collect Knights.

This novel is a fantastic view into the loyalties, motives, and combat of 40k Imperial & Chaos Knights. Many times Knights and Knightly house of both loyalties are relegated to background support characters for larger setting figures such as Belasarius Cawl and Abbadon. But this novel allows for the Imperial and Chaos Knights to take a commanding presence on the battlefield while the noble pilots remain vulnerable and human. If a thousand more knightly stories came out just like this one I would buy and listen to every one.

Excellent voice acting from a professional

Mr. Tester adds exceptional value to an awesome story 5 stars! Hope to see more from this series.

really good knight book and really glad to see Chris get a full warhammer audiobook, and hope he gets more.

Captures the dark gritty essence of 40k

Kingsblade is an epic and incredible Warhammer 40,000 read by Clark that I had a ton of fun with. Featuring a mecha-laden novel that contained awesome action sequence after awesome action sequence, this was a great addition to the wider Warhammer 40,000 canon and a must read for all fans of the franchise.

God I love knights.

After the turd that was Fulgrim and hearing this book FINALLY got a audio version I was beyond happy. Now I cannot wait for the sequel to get an audio version.

Wonderful narration

Very good read, good amount of knight on knight combat as well as general courtly interaction. Chris does a wonderful job with the narration once again
