Great Reaf

This was a great read that allowed me to connect with the characters. l loved the Christian aspect all throughout the book

Loved it

I truly loved this book the story of how God was in the book from beginning to the end. The prayers and scriptures the tears of joy of excepting Christ. Awesome book !!

Too many stereotypes

I struggled to finish this book because of the over exaggerated stereotypes of Black folks in church.

Love the interesting characters. Funny good time if you don't take it too seriously. A few plot issues.

The relation to my current circumstances

It started kind of slow I actually fell asleep this first time I started listening (I was really tired through) when I started listening again it was at chapter three. I listened nonstop from there. Good read. I would read/listen again.

Great Book!

Would you consider the audio edition of Up at the College to be better than the print version?

I really enjoyed the print and the audio edition. Audio editions are great during long commutes or waiting for my daughter in my car.

If you could take any character from Up at the College out to dinner, who would it be and why?

I would love to take Yvonne Fountain out to dinner. I admire her faith in God and ability to forgive her ex-hubbie. Forgivenessis always followed by a blessing.

Every book isn't for everyone, but for me, this one was and I enjoyed it.

Loved it!

This is the 3rd book I've read from this author. I really enjoyed the story and the narrator was perfect. Amazing, a real treat!
