Made me laugh and say "ain't that the truth."

Worthy read/listen!!

I found it engaging because the author held true to the male perspective as well as the female perspective. This one is worth your points.

I did not feel the Holy Ghost

Would you try another book from Michele Andrea Bowen and/or Saidah Arrika Ekulona?

I really like the narrator I have heard her on other novels and I like how she express the characters.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

I like the battle between Lamont and Jethro for the housing bid. The romance between Theresa and Lamont could have been done better.

Did Holy Ghost Corner inspire you to do anything?

I did inspire me not to judge people on their outside appearance Ms. Babydoll's character was done very well.

I loved this book. It has great story line. I was lost in the characters.

Narrator didn't do it for me!!!

I've read the hard copy of this book several times & love it. That is the reason why I bought this book on Audible. But I was truly disappointed when I heard the narrator. I expected much better!!!! The narrator from the other books by Mrs. Bowen were so much better!!! in not sure if I'll keep this.

great book

this book has just enough humor, yet still has a church based storyline

Surprised NC Native

I was worried at first because there were several mistakes on the pronunciations of cities in NC. The story line is great but I think the reader should have researched how to pronounce things.

Every time I read it it's like reading it the first time. I LOVE THIS BOOK!

Poor narrator and a very boring story

I listen to alot of audio books and this story is almost unbareable to even hear even on low volume. The character names in this story are so GHETTO, too ridiculous to even remember. And the plot and story line is really bad. I wasted so much time listening to this story that I could have gotten a root canal which I would have enjoyed better.

not christian inspirational

Although there are no sex scenes in this book there is a lot of sexual talk and innuendos.
