Real Storytelling vs. History Lessons

This book was so engaging. Highly recommended for ANYONE curious about human history, but doesn’t have the patience for textbook style lessons.

Be Aware of Meanings

For those who do not keep abreast of the author's work and his commitments this book would seem to be a somewhat charming narrative journey into "reality." However it is clear that things such as the Great Reset, World Economy Forum and the plans for the future are very often just under the surface of this book. It is alarming that there is an effort to reduce respect for elders, to disrespect many traditions and to willingly give up sovereignty and control to a whimsical view of a future state where, in Klaus Schwab's words; "You will own nothing and you will be happy." There are inconsistencies and un-stated aspects in the book which make it clear that it is but "Part 1." Unfortunately the reason many of us cannot wait for the next part is that our fear and curiosity is elevated as to what may come next and how alert and concerned people may wish to accept, reject or protest elements of Mr. Harari's erudite self-exposures.

for kids

This is basically Sapiens lite. Fine for a kid, but if you're looking for something after his main books, this isn't it. Even the narrator sounds like a school teacher reading to kids.

How easy anything can be explained

I like it all. From the beginning till the end. Very interesting and ilustrative for kids and adults
