More Zombies!

I haven't read many zombie books, but I loved on this one tells the story from the point of view of a zombie. You learn more about how they congeal into one of these "mega" zombies. The story mainly stays around the farmhouse that was arrived at after book 2. I am glad to see this won't be the end of the story, and eagerly look forward to book 4.

Gripping

I'm usually not a fan of stories that move at a consistently fast pace and don't have some down time, but I have to call it as I see it. This story simply works. Each piece fits together seamlessly, and it gets you in it's grip. Excellent work.

Nonstop Improvement and Late Book Twists.

The series continues to get better with each installment, and this book is no exception. The pacing, the character moments, and the tension all feel sharper than before. What really stood out to me is that even three books in, there are still real surprises that keep you fully invested. The last hour and a half in particular ramps up the suspense and delivers some great twists that make the whole story even more satisfying.
