This book really shows the devastating effect sexual abuse has on someone's life. Some of the statistics in this book are mind-blowing. I thought the personal stories were especially helpful, showing that abuse can affect people of all races and socioeconomic statuses. If only the abusers could listen to this, they might see how their choices leave life long scars.

Each story is powerful and shows you how many ways that sexual abuse can damage your life or even make you stronger as a person.

Most of all. if you have suffered from sexual abuse in the past this is something you can relate to and get help with building up the courage to speak out. It is important you don't hold anything back as it can damage you for many years to come. You will also learn some skills on how to heal and prevent getting into traumatic experiences again.
