Apparently this is a second change story.

The female character was badly written and gave me the impression of being utterly pathetic. Like as soon as the male lead shows up again she is head over heels for him. Ready to accept him back. I hate that she doesn’t have any self respect.

Overall the story sucks

So much promise…but nope.

It’s sad because this could have been a good story if the female had a backbone and the story had time to develop. It needed time. This is too complex of a story to have it be so short. A short story only works if it’s a first time meet cute or you saw the couple develop between other stories. Second chance come with a lot of hurt and need time.
