I love this story

I wish I could listen to 102929 hours of it. Such a good story. The main male character is chefs kiss. Maxie is great but silly.

The story is consistent and pleasant.

It seemed to be shorter and not as much satisfaction from the story's length and proceeding.

The way she stutters is so realistic.

I read the manhua and the novel multiple times and just can't get enough of this love story between Maxi and Riftan. I was over the moon to find out that it is in audible as well!!!

I am still loving this series. Alas, volume II is not as good as Vol I. Still great just lacking a bit in the relationship between Maxi and Riftan. I had hoped for Maxi to get a lot stronger in this book and she doesn’t improve just not to the degree I had hoped for. Riftan really irritates me at several points in this one too. He seems to think Maxi capable of very little. He is attracted to her but doesn’t think she is valuable in any other way. I’d like for this to be clarified in the next volume that he actually knows how incredible she is but just wants to keep her safe.
