The story is consistent and pleasant.

It seemed to be shorter and not as much satisfaction from the story's length and proceeding.

Great book definitely should give it a read a good amount of spice great descriptions. I can’t say that I didn’t like everything was perfect if you like romance

I am still loving this series. Alas, volume II is not as good as Vol I. Still great just lacking a bit in the relationship between Maxi and Riftan. I had hoped for Maxi to get a lot stronger in this book and she doesn’t improve just not to the degree I had hoped for. Riftan really irritates me at several points in this one too. He seems to think Maxi capable of very little. He is attracted to her but doesn’t think she is valuable in any other way. I’d like for this to be clarified in the next volume that he actually knows how incredible she is but just wants to keep her safe.

Buyer beware they shorten the story

I am a fan of this book. that's why I bought the audiobook to listen to while crocheting.
I am however angry that I pay money for them to rip people off by shortening things. that is bad principal.
1. the chapters are shorten. If you do a read along you can tell that they skip sections of the chapters.
-look no farther then when the princess ask riftan to take maxi out
2. the 1st audio book was 11 chapters. This one however only had 8 chapters. they however tried to break it into parts to make it look longer. that is pretty weak.

they should've stay true to the first audiobook. I unfortunately already pre-order the 3rd one. I will not be buying any more after this. which is sad because I want to support the author. however, I don't want to support money gaugin corporation. Who think this kind of work is acceptable.

THIS IS NOT THE FULL STORY

I love this story so I have already read the full kindle version. This audiobook version has been shortened. In chapter 14 they skipped a big chunk in which the princess convinces Riftan to let Maxi go to the spring festival. I’m not sure why this portion was left out but the story has clearly been shortened.
