Suspense, drama and MFM? Yes please! Spectacular dual narration!

I wasn’t sure where this story was going at first when we first met Callie, Zane, and Nate but WOW did it turn out to be an amazing plot! Suspense, romance, drama and a 2nd chance at love!

“We’re all damaged. We’re all scarred. Sometimes you simply can’t see the scars. Besides, perfection is boring. Perfect things tend to be the most fragile.”

I fell in love with Callie when we first met her in Three to Ride and couldn’t wait to see how her story developed. After these 3 first meet in a whirlwind weekend, the book fast forwards to 6 years later when they meet again. I hate to give away spoilers as the rest of this book has such gripping plot that is much more enjoyable to find out as you read! Just know that it will have you on the edge of your seat while you also enjoy the many spicy MFM romance scenes. Each character grows throughout the story, but their chemistry is complete fire and they just can’t resist! For me this book had a more fascinating and engaging storyline than the first book with a whole lot more romance as well! These characters completely stole my heart by the end of the book! Such a good read!

As I mentioned before, this series is written in 3rd person which isn’t my usual cup of tea BUT if you listen to the audible version, it is dual narrated which makes is SO enjoyable that you forget what POV it is in!

Clothing Optional

Callie Sheppard had a simple request. OK, so maybe it wasn't entirely simple, but what a request it was! 🥵 I love how she tackles her needs and wants.

I love Zane Hollister. He's got a heart of gold. He's rough around the edges, giving Max Harper a run for his money as the town gloom squad leader, but I just want to hug him.

On the other hand, Nate Wright frequently rubs me the wrong way. He's self-absorbed for much of the book and acts like a Neanderthal on too many occasions. He's not a bad guy, just an inconsiderate boyfriend and friend.

Overall, I like their story. It's definitely steamy, humorous, scary, and intriguing. I fall more for this town of misfits and those looking for a place to belong with every turn of the page. I can't wait for the next installment.

I read along with the audio book. I really like the narrators, Lee Samuels and Kitty Bang. Duet is preferred, but I still like them. 🎧💙🎧

Romantic suspense

Callie, Nate and Zane’s story! Callie is the epitome of Bliss. Nate, is not. He’s so determined to tighten up the sheriff’s office and keep people from doing illegal things. Not an easy task.

A one weekend stand years earlier, gives Callie, Nate and Zane a history. This is another great MFM romance. Lexi does a fantastic job writing why choose, and throuples. And romantic suspense of course. I love that she writes kick ass female characters, no shrinking violets here. Callie will do anything to protect her men, just like they’ll do for her.

I love the dual narration. Kitty’s voice is perfect for Callie and Lee does a good job differentiating between Nate and Zane.

After Zane's cover is blown, he finds himself in Bliss with his best friend Nate. When Nate starts his first day as Bliss's new sheriff, he is shocked to find the one woman who has haunted him for the past 6 years, Callie. Callie  never expected to see Zane or Nate after they  walked out of her life, but now they are in her town, and there is no way for her to escape.

Very good series

I’ve liked each book - Book 3 less than the others, but that’s just personal taste.
