What's a ghost girl gotta do to catch a break around here? All I want is some peace and quiet and some time to get to know the men I once loved. Maybe throw in some mind-blowing sex while we're at it. What? It's been a hundred years, and this ghost girl has needs. Don't judge.
My guys are on edge and being a tad bit overprotective, so when I'm presented with the opportunity to finally get some answers, what's a ghost girl to do? Reggie and I dress to impress and hit the club, but after an encounter with a possible frenemy, things start to go horribly wrong. I mean, my mark is smearing down my arm like ink across a page, the guys' powers are starting to go haywire, and someone out there still wants us out of the picture...for good this time. We're forced to reach out to an old friend for help. Death isn't exactly what you'd call friendly, though. He's honestly downright dour, but maybe his missing daughter can solve our little problem. That is...if we find her in time.
One thing's for sure. I'm going to need a lot more wine...and donuts...and alcohol-infused ice pops to deal with this shit show. Because there's no way we're going down without a fight.
Contains mature themes.

Character growth for most But others get aggravating.
There’s about an hour and a half where the characters get extremely frustrating. They start mistreating the female lead character. Treating her like a burden rather than a partner. The jerk of the males characters gets really bad. Emotionally abusive basically. Anytime she had a thought he would grown. Tell her no before speaking. She talked to a guy and he thinks she’s been Flirting and trying to cheat. The others mates support he’s actions and don’t defend her. But then her character changes. Acting like a kept woman and weak or dependent on her men. apologizing for thinking for herself.
I almost stopped listening to the book at this point But 1 hour of everyone acting like complete ass holes was tiresome to listen to. Suddenly, everyone starts rotating back to their normal character personalities but still held a hint of that bullshit sexist personality. Book got better to listen to afterwards.
Would I recommend this book?
Yes, I would recommend this book . Minus the hour of activities. I did not like it. Many other aspects about this book or fantastic. The storyline is ever growing and will keep you guessing.
I just hope the author does not include any of that emotionally abusive stuff or sexist shit in book 3. Which I happen to be buying right now.
Narration was good. Again, I am not a fan of the surfer mates voice. But there was good and bad in reading. It could’ve been a request on how the author wanted the book read.
Book 2 also has a lot of romance, and a lot of steam. So do not recommend for young children. 😝
Great and irritating book
