He's gone....
This ghost girl just can't catch a break. There's fury in my soul and pain in my heart as I try to come to terms with the latest shitstorm the universe has thrown in the way of our unlife's happy ending. But during the uncertainty following the abduction, we discover we're not alone. We have the love and support of those closest to us, even if we barely remember them. With their help, it's time to start tackling our growing to-do list.
Like having Asher fix the guys' souls. Or asking Nate to help me save Macklin...er...Thad. Whatever...that's hella confusing (we're working on a cheat sheet). Anyways, once we're all together again, we'll stop my sister and save the world. No big deal, right?
After all that, maybe we'll finally get to live happily ever after...that is, if we don't die first.
Contains mature themes.

Book three wraps everything up so no cliff hangers or unanswered questions. Ending was sweet and gave you glimpses of the future.
The story is alright and you find out some new bits of information. But feeling of it dragging it on for a bit. Still a great storyline.
(Warning my bummer rant)
My only issue with this book is the character growth. I’m not a fan of the personalities now. She came off as a dimwit and a dependent on her men. When she is the most powerful one. This I do not get at all. Little of a let down on that. Also most the men are kind of jerks at times. You have the so called leader who is power hungry. Always have to be in control. Always has to be an ass. He can use he’s powers on he’s own brothers to force them to listen to him, which in a sense is kinda rapey. Then you got the guy who is empathetic so-called. The first book he listened to the emotions he felt. Now he ignores her turmoil for he’s own feelings. The nerdy guy can sometimes agree with there ass hole behavior or not standing up for her. But he’s also really sweet other times and caring. The twins are considered the dumb ones. But they are the most intelligent with women. Knowing what is right and wrong. How to treat there woman. But they can also be a pansy and not stand up for her when the leader guy mistreats her.
I love books with strong women and men who can support/care for them. This day and age, you have so many books where men are emotionally abusive is tiresome. If this is what women think is sexy then I worry. Kink is fun but safe words should be in place. Know when to stop. Beaten dog syndrome. Always going back when the emotional hurt you is not sexy. This book was not the worst I’ve heard. The one “leader” guy is the rough one. Book one was so good with the perfect dynamic with the relationships. So it aggravated me a little bit more with books 2 and 3 on how the relationships progressed. Sample, my rant paragraph lol.
Narration review
Narrators play off of each other well. I got used to the surfer Guy’s voice. Not so annoying to listen to. The way the male narrator read the female parts got a little tough times to listen to. Making them sound less intelligent. He had more reading parts in this book so I believed it was a tad bit more noticeable. Nothing is so horrible for me not to listen to the book but just noticed. Altogether, they did a pretty good job.
Would I recommend this book?
Yes, if you read or listened to book 1/2 then you’re going to need to finish it off. Storyline through throughout this series was pretty good. I love the premise of the afterlife and the gatekeeper. Also this new book fad where ghosts fall in love Is so neat. Found two or three books that has done this theme and liked all of them. Can you find love after you lost your life? No one knows. But it’s cool to Imagen. This series had their own little spin on things which I liked.
This series started off with a bang and hooked the readers. Ended it with a soft note in book three. This book would have been a 5/5 if the character growth was not so negative. Now this is just my point of view and others may love that change. The side characters had their own little back stories to making you feel a part of the action. I’m a fan when authors do this. Not just randomly throwing people into the mix.
Many sexy/steamy parts that have lots of details. View of it the scenes were oddly placed in the story. Like she has a sex drive that’s high. The world around them is falling apart and she’s ready to go. Funny and naughty. has a mystery theme throughout the entire series and has you guessing what is going to happen next? I guessed the main bad guy when they introduced him/them. But I was not 100% sure. Most events that happened in this series. I did not see coming. Book three was slow in new surprises, but you kinda got the download of everything near the end.
I do not regret making this book purchase and I believe many would love this series. Won’t be on my favorite list. If I could remove just one character out of this book, then I would’ve given it 4.5/5. That one just bugs me to much. Other them him. It’s all pretty good.
