It is a fun book to listen to.

The story was okay, and the characters were really interesting and funny but I think the narration really helped. It is a really great series. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Made it to Chapter 20…

Honestly? The narrator is amazing and I LOVE her, but the MC- Holly is an idiot. Who actually FORGETS that they’re making dinner and their BOYFRIEND is in the kitchen just cause the other guy shows up. Meh. Ghosts or not, not believable.

If love triangles don’t make you cringe, this is light and fun

This reminds me of Molly Harper, which I usually enjoy. A love triangle was hinted at in the first book but I was not sure the series was going to go there. It sure did, this book is mostly about that love triangle. I stopped with and hour and a half to go, I really, really hate love triangles. If you don’t, this is a light read wonderfully performed by Ronconi (as always!).

It is a fun story, and a surprise ending. However, the narrator reads too fast for me. Worth reading.

A Good Escape in Troubled Times

Enjoyable series. Another witch enters the haunted boarding house and of course we have another murder. Further character development. So start with book one before listening to this one. Light and easy fantasy listening with a feel good ending. Narration is by one of the best, Amanda Ronconi, and she will not disappoint!

Another fascinating story, loved that our heroine was able to allow herself to love again. Highly recommend this book.

Great mystery, but not as funny as her other series

It was a cute cozy mystery and had great plot twist. I admit I enjoy this authors comedy that she shares with other series but it was a great cozy mystery novel.
