Good story, but too quickly wrapped up.

The story was fun and interesting stone Barrington, but then 15 minutes left, so wrap it up! Too convenient and anti-climactic an ending. Put a bummer on the whole story.

It's a Barrington novel, so sex , spies, and a glimpse into the life of the 1%

Ending

The ending stinks. The story just stops abruptly. What was up with the part about the mother and daughter winking at each other. You didn’t develop that part either.

Another adventure featuring Stone and the gang. Across the pond and back. Oh forgot... nice Plane.

Surprisingly quick and anti-climactic ending. Sort of felt like a waste of time. Stone needs to reign in his hormones, I can’t keep all his women straight! Superb reader!

Stone Barrington is always a pleasurable character

The only problem I have with this book is that In the 40 years I’ve been going to PJ Clarks they never did I never will serve steaks

loved it but ending a bit disappointing.

ending was sudden and unexpectedly rushed and the story seemed unfinished. wasn't really the end

Entertaining, but really a treatise on excesses

I hung in there to see the story to the end to discover who was the treasonous soul. There was little surprise once the plot gels. However, the action predominantly concerns expensive aircraft, delicious meals, and expensive wine parings — and a whole lot of sex. Stone, the protagonist, easily trumps James Bond in the bedroom department. Every woman he meets wants and gets him. Since no one ever goes to the gym to work off the exotic meals and free flowing booze, I guess the sex burns off the calories. Tony Roberts’ English dialect is charming but makes the female characters sound elderly — although Stone seems to keep them busy regardless of age and usually more than once a day.
