Excellent

I love the way the author keeps you guessing about certain characters. There’s just enough thrill, action and romance.

Miranda FINALLY finds her daughter!

If you’ve read earlier books in the series, you know that Miranda originally arrived in Atlanta to locate her daughter. The daughter who had been conceived by rape then illegally out up for adoption by Miranda’s abusive husband. Parker has joined Miranda’s quest to find her daughter...and he has succeeded...except, Miranda doesn’t get the reception she expected at the first meeting. Miranda’s ex makes a miraculous recovery and escapes from the hospital and Leon has big plans for Miranda and her daughter. The race is on to stop the mad man. This was one of the best books in the series with some uncertainty in Miranda and Parker’s relationship. Highly recommend this book.

Implausibility Overload

This book is the worst written in this series in terms of how implausibly both major and minor characters speak and behave, from security guards to hospital workers, to police, to the parents and lead characters. Even medical situations are implausible. Good shooting skills appear out of nowhere when prior books establish she has none. The only reason I finished this series is to find out wheat happened with the daughter, which is the best part of the story arc through the books. The rest is a mediocre ripoff of Eve Dallas and Roarke in JD Robb’s stellar In Death series.
