I laughed out loud throughout this book
Because I'm not a dog, I can't say for sure that the author and reader of this delightful story have perfectly nailed what goes on in a dog's mind. But it sure sounds like it. The reader, Jim Frangione, is fantastic. Everything about Frangione's delivery portrays Chet, the engaging animal who tells the story, just as I imagine Chet would sound to another dog.
This book is the second in the series. I suggest starting with the first in the series, but it's not impertive to do so. The second book is even funnier than the first. I hope this series continues for many dog years to come.

Just as good as I expected
Chet is a very special member of the nation within a nation. Bernie is not so bad either. They are a special team, you know!

Fun listen!
Getting things from the dog's point of view is, again, refreshing and fun. You do get to know and enjoy the characters. I'll keep listening to this series!

CHET and Bernie at their finest!!!
If you could sum up Thereby Hangs a Tail in three words, what would they be?
Love the series
What did you like best about this story?
I like how this series is from Chet's prospective and it's just interesting.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
Well he really wasn't quirky enough for the character Chet. He did do a good job but it was not what I envisioned in my head.

LOVED IT!!
The second book picked right up from the first, with Chet personal twist on things. I have immensely enjoyed these books and the narrator is in my top 4 list! Wonderful listen, well worth buying!

Fun story
I enjoy these books because its fun to hear the "dogs perspective" and it makes looking for the bad guy a little different. If you don't like dogs you probably won't like this book.

Love. Chet. The book is great

Any dog person or animal person would love this series. So yes

Yes.
What about Jim Frangione’s performance did you like?
He made you think the dog is actually talking. Thinking like a dog.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When they were in the desert.

I like the way he takes words we use and puts them in there real meaning. Loved the books

Would you consider the audio edition of Thereby Hangs a Tail to be better than the print version?
Yes!
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Yes! Fast moving and Chet's relationship with Bernie is really cool.
What does Jim Frangione bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The way he conveys Chet's thoughts in accordance with what is going on! You actually get wrapped up in his emotions.
