Wonderful dark humor

I bought this as a daily deal not expecting much. As others have said, WOW just WOW truly entertaining, It's hard to say much without spoilers, so go along with all the good reviews this book is worth a credit.

A Deranged Serial Killer

The derogatory portrayal of a Catholic priest had him commuting adultery, frequently cursing, and playing loose with the sanctity of the confessional. He also served a the local sheriff. I nearly quit listening to the book.

The book also portrays the FBI as inept and bombastic.

The ending was entirely unexpected.

Decent Story but...

This was a decent story but... If I say more it would be a spoiler. Narration was good and there are a few teists.

Twisty Tale

My first thought was What An Odd Book. But hang in there. It is very quirky.

Unexpected!

This book is far from my typical audiobook genre but I took a chance on it. It had some of the best twists I have ever heard. And the narrator CRUSHED this! Perfect voice, tone and pacing

Thrilling!

I loved this book when I first read it and I loved it even more listening to it. Jeremy does a wonderful job building the story up to its crescendo, giving us just enough to want to know what's going to happen next.

The narrator did a wonderful job voice Lancaster and the rest of the characters, giving us insight in clear concise tones.

The good, the bad, the Evil

Really entertaining and scary story about a killer in the Midwest. This book makes you laugh, cringe, and think about the evil we live with. A very good narrator sets the scene.

Couldn't stop listening!

Unbelievably, found myself rooting for the bad guy. I love dry sarcastic humor and this book it full of it.

Crazy

This book was incredible. It starts very slow but then has the biggest twist you would never see coming. Really enjoyed this listen
