This book was enjoyable but not as great as her Legend series.

great story

I loved this story. definitely not what I expected it was going to be, but much better! I can't wait until The Rose Society comes out. I hope audible doesn't take too long to get it!

Read it, don’t listen to it

Story was good, when you read it yourself. The reader Carla Corvo, was terrible. She made the main character sound so stupid and high school-y. The main character sounds “like- I’m-so-sure” almost valley girl accent. When I read the book myself it was much better.

The action, the descriptions the story 😍

She doesn’t disappoint with this book and I’m looking forward to reading the next one

Great Read, but significantly intense

Overall it really was a great read,a psychological and emotional twist, both filled with light and darkness.

I really wished there was a little more hope for the main character, as it seems she is very weak to her mind. I hope for a brighter future for her and look forward to the other books.

Definitely enjoy the person speaking for the characters.

I would recommend reading this book :), but if you are easily affected by the emotions of the characters I would advise caution as it does take a toll on the mind, trying to figure and understand the psychological darkness of some of the characters, and the human reality of selfish choices/ preservation.

A question that races as I read, is man when in fear always so self-preserving and unable to love? I hope for more hope in the world of the Young Elites.

great book!

I think that the story line is very original and well thought out. This was defiantly one that I became completely wrapped up in untill the last page. It did take an interesting turn that im not sure how I feel about but im anxious to see how it turns out. I am so ready for the next book in the series!
