Forbidden & Sexy

The Worst Kept Secret had a lot going on, but it was such a fun read. I cracked up laughing several times, and totally swooned at Theo and Avery's story. This book was just as dirty, filthy, sexy as the last one and I absolutely loved it. There's something about the hot dad next door in a forbidden way that just made this story so hot. These two were pure perfection together. I listened to the audiobook and it was very well done.

I didn’t love the narration - Theo’s voice sounded forced and too old for the character. Avery was OK. Not my favorite.

The story had all the good things, spice, love, both falling hard in an age gap, best friend’s dad romance. And did I mention spice 🥵. I did like Regan’s book better but looking forward to the next one.

Narration is So HOT!

Dane Anderson is looking to be one of my new favorite narrator. He is SOOOOOOO good as Theo and the spicy scenes are HOT af! One of my favs to listen again and again

Holy Taboo Hotness😍😍

I loved this book from beginning to end. I love theos & Avery's connection. The steam though guys🥵 This was the best, spiciest read I've found in years🔥♨️

Age gap

All the spice and all the angst of a taboo, age gap, best friends dad romance. Avery and Theo have been trying to resist their pull to one another. Avery’s best friend is Theo’s son, and he is in love with Avery, so not only is their age a factor, they do not want to hurt Lucas’ feelings.

Audio review: Maggie Thompson was perfect as Avery. She had a youthful way of speaking, but not young and naive. She was fierce, sure of herself, with lots of sass and plenty of flirt. Her ability to change up her tone to depict different characters was phenomenal. Dane Anderson was fantastic as Theo. He had a fun way of taking control and being authoritative, but completely in aww and love with Avery. I truly was able to get lost in the narration of this book and enjoy the story.
