Great book!! What I have come to expect from Crais. Pike and Cole are two of the best characters I ever read. Can't get enough.

Mispronounced

The narrator pronounces Lucy’s last name different than all the other audio books. It distracted me from the story. Every time he said it wrong I cringed.

When it’s a series the narrator needs to do their homework and make sure they are saying the names correctly. Great story but this took away from it.

The start was a little slow but the finish was great. Great series and well worth the credit.

Excellent story/good ending

Craig’s is an interesting writer with creative twists in each story he writes. This book has interesting characters that develop in an atypical way like the two thugs and their music knowledge and ability. The main theme shows stupidness, smartness and compassion.

Darkly Humerous

This was a fun ride with enough action and humor to maintain an interesting pace. Elvis Cole is one of the "good guys" in many ways!

Great entertainment

Elvis Cole and Joe Pike are good down to earth characters.
A different story line , keeps you wanting to know the next chapter.

Elvis Cole is Alice and well

You have to like Elvis and Pike They are always fun to listen to and lighten enough that you don’t need to think too hard.

Hardly worth the wait

About 3/4 of the way through the book I felt like strangling the teenagers myself. They did not gain my sympathy at all, especially the airhead/ Valley Girl- sounding Amber. She had zero redeeming qualities. I have almost all Mr. Craise’s books and usually enjoy them, but this one didn’t measure up, I like Joe Pike as a character, but in this one I don’t see why he was included. Better luck next time.
