Laugh out load romcom ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The kids' parts were the best. I was laughing so hard that I was crying!

Bravo for this one...

I thought I loved book 1 but book 2 was better.. I don't know how Swan can out do herself from here...this book is 12 hrs long.. 4 hrs in the leads are heavily invested in forever but just didn't realize it at the time.. I had a moment where I thought "how the hell is she going to fill in the remaining time and not make it all about sex?" .. I kept listening and it was a magical ride... Claire's kids were the definition of trouble and it was hilarious. Her kids meeting Tristan for the first time had my jaw dropping and I totally understood when he took off for the hills. But as the days and the dynamics btwn all of them unravelled I absolutely loved Tristan. I yelled when Claire closed off towards the end but again I have never lost a husband or had to run small business by myself so who am I to judge her reaction?

Enough of my rant.. the narration is perfect. The story is captivating. If you don't have credit buy it.. enough said.

I loved it! Took me through all of the emotions..

This book had everything and I couldn't stop listening and had to hold in my cries of laughter at 2 am so I didn't wake my husband. I look forward to listening to the other books. It was a wonderful story and the narration was perfect.

Stop saying sexily

The first time the reader said “sexily”, as in “He smiled sexily at her…” I said, “Not a word.” without thinking. The 10th time I heard it I looked it up, and it is slang. So, okay it’s a word. I stand corrected. It’s a stupid word, and its a word that has plenty of synonyms. Please, use your thesaurus. I can’t. Someone “smiled sexily” literally dozens of times in these two books. Other than that one thing, these are good books and I was hooked on the interesting stories, characters, and enjoyed the voice actors. (SebYo is consistently great and never takes me out of the story with bizarre choices. He’s a pro.)

This grabbed me in the feels

I never cry. But this one made me cry twice. Some of the steamy scenes are a little squicky. But everything else makes up for that. These kids! Love them.

Pleasantly surprised

For me, the children added so much to the story with a bit of comic relief and a lot of emotion. I laughed and even teared up in some places. Plus there was a lot of steamy sex.

Tristan Miles is a god. That is a fact

If you didn't already have a soft spot for Tristan from the previous book, you sure as heck will have one the size of Alaska and then some by the time this book isn't even halfway over. The beautiful, often times insanely hilarious ways Tristan works his way into the hearts of those 3 boys is enough to make you cry repeatedly and cackle with laughter. Toward the end, I kept wondering what the big conflict could possibly be, because everything had worked together in such a well written way that a conflict really couldn't be seen. Then it happened. A classic case of "if we would've just communicated in the first place, things wouldn't have gone nuclear" left me wanting to strangle the MFC. Half star deduction for that bit because it seemed just so out of place, character, and writing style to the point I genuinely believed that Claire didn't deserve Tristan anymore for the awful things she said and believed about him. BUT, the way they came back together in the name of forgiveness and shear care of one another was inspiring and heartwarming. The ending is so serene and full circle that it'll leave your jaw dropping at the incredulity of Tristan's character. I hope we see more of him, because what. a. man
Narrators yet again did a WONDERFUL job. SO glad they were chosen for these projects

Good book

Good book. Enjoyed the story and the change from the usual boy meet girl story

Rhysand ain’t got nothing on Tristan Miles

After listening to this, my brain is like, “Rhysand who?”

My favorite in the series. I laughed. I cried. I screamed. I smiled like a fool. ❤️

WOW!!!

I’ve read (listened to) probably 10 of TL Swan’s books, and this was by far my favorite and there are so many reasons why…let me name them.
1. The female lead is over 35 and doesn’t have a “perfect” body. She has stretch marks, and a C-section scar…all of the things that real women have, but the male lead still sees her as gorgeous. Sigh…
2. The male lead isn’t obsessed with an*l s*x the way that all of TL Swan’s other books are. Not that I’m against that, but it’s in EVERY BOOK and it’s getting old.
3. The interaction between Tristen and the kids had me laughing until tears streamed down my face. At one point I was afraid I would wreck my car I was laughing so hard. SUCH GREAT WRITING! I’ve noticed that TL Swan is so good at writing about everyday situations and making them hilarious.

There are more reasons, but I won’t drone on. Just read the book. It’s amazing!
