loved it all!

I really enjoyed the entire series start to finish. I was hooked. book 11 was a little meh, And that's just because I was super impatient and And wanted them to get to their destination. One thing, the entire series did lack that I really wanted and maybe it's in one of the sub-series. was when he first went to the forbidden zone way back in book three or four. And it just skipped over the entire process. I would have loved to have read that. overall 10 out of 10 performance and story 10 out of 10 as well. I really enjoy when I pick up a finished series and as the books progress I can tell the author getting better at their craft. he was already good at the beginning on book one but by book 12 he had really honed in and it was a great story

Of all system stories I've read this one is number 1 and have earned a placed in my top 10 of favorite books.

Great ending to a great series! They really stuck the landing with this series. Wonderful!

Oh god the end…

What a cap to an incredible story. The last book really didn’t do justice to the rest but the last hour really did redeem it.

Good series except…

I’ve listened to over 300 books. The litrpg genre being almost 75% of it. The MC in this series has so much introspection it gets old. I fast forwarded through a bunch of it. The man spends 25-40% of his time b sting him self up for his decisions over and over again and analyzing them over and over again. Other than that it was good and it was read even better.

Good ending to an epic saga.

Everything was satisfying. Thats it. Enjoyed the ride. Looking forward to the other character developments that have been released from Tao Wong.

solid story

liked pretty much everything about the story. kinda wish he had gotten to legendary at the end just to see some cool skill descriptions. The ending was mostly satisfying in that bittersweet kinda way could have been better though. A time laps of a couple of years would have been nice. A cooler name for the new class would have been samurai of fate or destiny or something fatalistic like that.

Great series and highly recommend. Wondering if this and another series take place in the same universe or a different universe 🤔

Epic story line.

Awesome series that makes you not want to stop listening. The end was unfortunate, but I suspected it would happen. Would have been nice to see John get some peace in the end, but in his words "what is, is".

lack of character growth!!!

seems like the character is just a complete push over for a hero. it was hard to listen at times as the author seemed to make his main character a grat fighter but a complete wuss every where else!! kinda wasted my credits on this. but once I start a series I have to finish it!!
