With each deadly encounter, Mason is force to accept his place as one of the nation's few remaining lawmen. In a world now populated by escaped convicts, paranoid mutants, and government hit squads, his only hope to save the townspeople is to enforce his own brand of frontier justice.

Halfway across the country, a killer is released from prison. With hopes set on a fresh start, he rescues a young girl desperate to get home. As they travel across the wasteland that once was the United States, they must call upon every bit of strength and courage to survive not only the horrors of the new world but also a violent government agenda.

The Survivalist

While this is a story of a very real scenario, some of the adventures of the central hero are frankly hard to believe.

great read. would recommend to any survivalist

good knowledge, easily followed, some gthings to think about. enjoyed reading the book front to back

a fun book

I enjoyed this book but the narrator struggled to do the different voices. his female voices where just down right creepy for example. but still, an enjoyable action movie in book form

Plausible

Pretty good but to short. Liked the narrater also, good job on different voices, meh.

Excellent story line; well developed characters

I really enjoyed the story line and the characters were well developed as each one helped build to the dramatic ending. Will be getting the rest of the series.
