Awesome
I loved the book and really enjoyed the audio presentation of it. Rosell does a great job creating stories that grab ahold of you and keep you drawn from beginning end. I highly recommend this book and the series.

hard to stay engaged
I was introduced to this Author from the Legends of Tal series, which was a fun read. this series borrows MANY of its character elements, which make the series hard to follow. this series continues that trend but also ignores character development and has this spotty exposition that just leaves you confused at times. Also, this book randomly expounds on the 'forbidden' feelings a side character has for the main character. I get what the author was trying to do but it was completely random and unnecessary noise in the story. it felt like a side plot from 1993, not 2023.
overall I finished this book mainly due to reading the first two. if you are interested in the author, read the Legends of Tal series.
