The Spread
I enjoyed this 3 book set. It was a different take on alien takeover of the earth. On a trip to the highlands of Scotland ,a, group of friends encounter a fungus that invades people and turns them into monsters. Trying to find help some encounter weird little bugs that spray a green liquid.Besides creatures, humans are now killing people. The military comes and set up a zone to keep victims, more like prisoners in.It is a terrible world by the end of book 3.A good read! Aubrey Parsons was a very good narrator. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Threefer of Terror
Complete series. Complete bleakness. The world you start with is not the one you end with. This is an excellent purchase for your credit. The fungus aspect is horrifying and the way the govt reacts is even more so, because it is without a doubt the way things would happen.
Aubrey Parsons is wonderful in her narration, she brings this story (ironically) to life.
If you like apocalyptic tales, and struggles for survival then this is the collection for you. The nice this is its not too long, just 15 hours, which is an average novel length, so that you are bogged down by a 30+ hour story. Not that you would mind, but the story works well where it is.
