Another fantastic novel

Another great addition to the Cussler family, its a great listen and well worth the time but it was frustrating occasionally when the characters make stupid decisions for the sake of continuing the story, for example when you have a ship floating off shore and an island breaking into revolution, why would you continue to stay on the island in a hotel when you could sleep safetly on the ship every night free of potential danger. I do strongly recommend the book as its a great story and has all qualities of a Cussler novel, you won't be sorry.

Wonderful adventure!

This was one of the best Cussler books I've read. Very interesting story and very well performed. The story was quick to form and always a new twist even to the last chapter. The Fargos are quite likeable. Can't wait for the next one.

I have been reading Clive Cussler for over 20 years. I still can't put them down when I start.

Fascinating blend of history and imagination

This is one I have listened to several times. Each time I hear details or catch nuances that escaped my first listen. The story, which includes WWII history, carries a morbid ingredient. Even so it doesn't overpower the storyline. If you enjoy Mr Cussler's historical weavings, then this is a definite hit. My Dad, who is a Pacific WWII survivor, also enjoyed the story.

Unpredictable Treasures

The physical treasures are only a fraction of the fun in comparison to the treasures found in plot and character twists that come with the"curses" in the Solomon's.

Historical adventure fiction at its best

As always, Mr. Cussler's story is brimming with excitement, knowledge, intrigue, and mystery. This is for the explorer in all of us.

Lot of twists and turns. Action galore!

Very good story. What a great end. You could make a whole story of just the find at the end! Do it Clive!

Any additional comments?

The book is entertaining. Unfortunately the storyline is fueled by numerous stupid and illogical actions (the Fargos never miss a chance to barge into danger; villains would rather talk than just kill them; flashlight batteries continue to give out). I don't know why Brick attributes a Carribean Island accent to Solomon islanders.

Fantastic as Usual !

Great narrator, loved the interactions between characters and the authors great descriptions! I would recommend this book (and author) to anyone who likesa good adventure!
