This Male Narrator

The story was fine, though it took a bit to really get on the road. The audio quality was great, both narrators were fine. But this Male Narrator, oh my! His character differentiations were top notch!

Dark, Intimate, and Impossible to Put Down

This audiobook completely pulled me in. The dynamic between the characters is intense, intelligent, and emotionally charged, with just the right balance of darkness and vulnerability. The story unfolds with purpose—every interaction matters, every choice has weight—and the tension never lets up.

The narration is outstanding. The performance elevates the material, bringing nuance and depth to the characters and making the atmosphere feel immersive and almost cinematic. The pacing is excellent, and the emotional beats land exactly where they should.

If you enjoy dark romance with psychological depth, power dynamics, and a story that lingers after the final chapter, this is absolutely worth your time.

Absolutely loved it. It rambled on a bit in some places but other than that I absolutely loved it. Great story great great telling of the story.

Saying this story devoured me is an understatement. As soon as I finished it, I went back and listened to my favorite chapters again. Seeing the layers emerge from our main characters and how they found each other was beautiful. They saved each other in unique ways. In some aspects, the typical gender roles were reversed, and I loved that. The paranormal aspect gripped me from the very beginning, the spice was spicing, and the slow burn gave it the chefs kiss.
This book was pure poetry. Brilliantly written and perfectly narrated. Do yourself a favor and let this story take you away. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
