Don't judge the author by this book alone.
In comparison to other books of the genre it's great! However, in comparison to HER other books, it falls short for me. One of my FAVORITE authors! 😍 I'm always looking for new books by her to read.. and I devour them! This one doesn't do her justice.

Really good story
I really appreciate how this doesn't follow the very common tropes that I often see. The main characters are well developed, and I can't tell who is friend or foe. I look forward to collecting the rest of this series in audio, but because I cannot wait to find out more, I'm very glad that the books are available. I can already tell that this will be a series worth experiencing on repeat.
