Fun read!

Makes me want to hit the road with some friends to find my next great adventure!

Such a fun narration

I really enjoyed the main characters and the various adventures they went on to find Love and romance. As a soon to be silver single I find these types of stories encouraging and this one kept me laughing. I thought the ending a bit too contrived and disappointing, but I suppose she had to end up in a traditional way.

As an older woman, I found this book very relatable. It made me laugh out loud several times as Tess faced many of the sobering issues aging, single women face.

A fun light comedy about strong women of a certain age.
Characters are interesting and dialogue is just enough

Friendship, longing for love, the problems facing elderly, the humor. It was lighthearted reading for a relaxing mood.

Fun story about how you are never too old to find a perfect match.

Just OK.

As chick-lit novels go, this is an acceptable one. At least the subject matter is original, in that it deals with older women (not the usual, cliche' 20-something space-cadet girl who fumbles around until Mr.-Right-and-Together comes to make her life great).
The end felt really rushed; while other parts (such as the description of a trip to Greece, for example) were unnecessarily long and wearisome.
The thing that bothered me the most was the reading style of the performance. Judy Sweeny syllabicates her words and slows her sentences as if she were an old librarian reading to three-year-olds. It ruined the enjoyment of listening to the book for me.
