Didn't want story to end! Just so engaging, turned chaos into

I have read all of her books and this one was one of my favorites. Funny, light, insightful and pleasurable.

Love Maddie Pease!!

I laugh, I am uplifted, I am understood and I laugh again. Her characters are so real and fun! The are lovable! Never stop writing!!

I’m torn…

I’m a bit on the fence with this one. I enjoyed the story very much. This author can always make me laugh and I do love her characters. The trouble happens with the main character’s inner monologues. They drag on and often stall the story. My advice - be patient. She’ll get back to the action eventually and it will be enjoyable again!

Very enjoyable

I this is the third Maddie Please book I’ve read. I enjoyed the change of the main character to an author and the little hints toward other stories. I found the inner monologues extremely amusing. It might be easier to catch on if you were reading it, but they accent the character’s humor.

Most satisfying end

I didn’t care for the first part of the book and some of the characters, but midway through it began to focus on the main character and her journey, and I greatly enjoyed the story with its very heartfelt and satisfying ending. As an older woman myself, the theme of finding yourself again and enjoying the later years feels very significant. I enjoy the narrator very much.

Another perfect story

The story line is easy, funny and addictive the narration is perfection. One of my best reads this year.

Not my preferance

Just not my preference of story lines..others may find appealing.. could not get into the book.
