A much fun story line for the most part, I could picture the faces and voices and scenes the author painted so perfectly.

Listening to The Old Ducks’ Club, by Maddie Please, I felt as though I had gone on a carefree vacation to a Greek Isle, had an unexpectedly wonderful time with daring new friends, savored new flavors, had a chance to take stock of my life, and decide on some new directions to explore. I can’t wait for the next adventure!

I have just died laughing and also come away with quite a great bit of wisdom imparted by these old ducks!! Can’t wait to read the next book!!

What a wonderful feel-good book!

A perfectly charming book about putting one foot in front of the other when life throws difficulties your way. Making new friends, finding a new love, letting go of the past, forgiving yourself of failures, standing up for yourself, and seeing the future as a magical new beginning full of possibilities and adventures. Excellent narration.

Laugh out loud

Fun story of adventure, growth and discovery even when becoming an “old duck”! I laughed out loud so many times I lost count! Really enjoyed it !

This book is a mixture of "Little Old Lady who Broke All the Rules" and a love story. I can totally see this book as a cute BBC series or movie. It was a fun, light book for anyone

Sweet, fun, relaxing

Many of the reviews said it was laugh out loud funny. I did not find this to be the case, but I did find it to be some very enjoyable, light entertainment. Doesn't take a lot of brain power and certainly won't leave you on the edge of your seat but it was very sweet and the main characters are very likeable. It's not a waste of time or credits though I probably won't read the next in the series.
