One of the best in the whole series. It gets really good in this book.

I’ve read or listened to this book well over a dozen times. Though this is the first time (obviously) with Rosamund Pike voicing it. I love the Michael Kramer and Kate Reading versions and have listened many times. It’s hard to say which version I like better, but pike is absolutely amazing. Her ability to voice so many different characters by herself is uncanny. She does a masterful job. It may take ten years but I hope she finishes recording the entire series. Wheel of time remains my absolute all time favorite. There is nothing like it in scale. It is truly epic fantasy as it’s best.

Excellent narration

I read the books long ago and felt there was a certain cheesyness. Listening to them narrated this way has let me appreciate aspects of the characters and story that I missed when I did the reading. Really was a skilful acting performance and not just a reading. cant wait for the next one to be released

Rosamund Pike should narrate all audiobooks

What can’t she do? As always, Rosamund Pike is the hero of this review, her performance is breathtaking and completely draws you into the world of the Dragon Reborn. For those who are enjoying the TV show, don’t write off Rosamund’s ability to create familiar voices that still have their own unique texture. This is a master class in narration, and I honestly would listen to Rosamund narrate a cook book.

The story itself is engaging and captivating, a must read series for all Fantasy lovers and those looking to explore. Could not recommend more.

Rosamund Pike is unmatched

Every book in this series has been masterfully narrated and leave a work of art. I have never been so enthralled than when listening to The Shadow Rising. my only complain with this book is the various skipping during the beginning of some chapters, something that wasn't an issue is previous novels.

My favorite WOT book, bad production…

This was excellent overall. Rosamund Pike is fantastic with voices and accents. My only complaint is that there are unnecessary volume fluctuations, particularly when Pike is about to yell or speak loudly, the volume will cut out a good 10 -20 seconds before and not come back to normal levels until many seconds after. Very unprofessional sound engineering or direction, not sure, but it is jarring and takes you out of the story. Please fix!

Rosamund Pile is great narrator

I like the new Rosamund Pike narration far better than original. Very engaging story either way

Rosamond Pike is so good

I really enjoyed this recording. The characters in the series are finally developing, and the story is starting to make more sense—thank goodness! Rosamond’s excellent reading and performance skills truly bring the story to life and make listening so much more enjoyable. Honestly, at this point, I might be tuning in just for her!

I had to reread part of book 3 to catch up. quickly I was back in the groove of things with Rosemund's mannerisms and quirks. please keep going. much better than the other voice actor.

Rosamund Pike is amazing! I could listen to her forever. Love her accents for the different characters.
